In the second round, he was able to beat Brazilian player Leandro Pena with a score of 6-2 6-0. The quarterfinal he won from other Brazilian player Ymanitu Silva.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The semi-final ended in a three set against Japanese player Koji Sugeno with 6-1 5-7 6-4, which earned Sam a spot in the final against his doubles partner, Niels Vink.
