The US Open proved for Sam Schröder both in the singles and doubles a triumph. Schröder managed to win the singles final against fellow Dutch man Niels Vink, who he also managed to beat the doubles final with against Andy Lapthorne and Donald Rhampadi (6-1 6-2) the day before.
These victories not only result in his fifth Grand Slam title in the Singles, but also in his second Grand Slam title in the Doubles.
