In 2024 Paris is not just once but twice on the agenda for the tennis player, as both Roland Garros, and the Paralympics take place in the French capital. Sam Schröder, who won the Paralympic games in Tokyo (2021) with both a silver and gold medal last time, is hoping to return home with two golden medals this time around:

“These last few months, I have been training, both physically as well as mentally, nonstop in order to prepare for the Paralympics. Thanks to the support of my team, family, friends, sponsors, and fans, I have been able to push my boundaries and focus fully on the upcoming matches.
I’m more than ready to give everything I have, and show people what I’m capable of. Mostly I just want to thank everyone that has believed in me and supported me on this journey. Let’s do this together.”
