The Cajun Classic, an annual tournament in the month of March, is the second of five “Super Series” from the annual tennis calendar. Apart from the Grand Slams, Super Series are the more important tournaments for disabled tennis players, and can be compared to the Masters 1000 by the able bodied category.
Tournament Process
For Sam, the tournament started with a Bye in the first round. In the second round, he was able to beat Brazilian player Leandro Pena with a score of 6-2 6-0. The quarterfinal he won from other Brazilian player Ymanitu Silva.
