In the final singles match, I knocked the second seeded favorite Niels Vink. (my doubles parther) Today I was the better, I captured after this win my fifth Grand Slam title in singles and my second in doubles at the US Open 2020

Together with Niels Vink, I also won the finals in the doubles. We were way too strong for South African Donald Ramphadi and his British partner Andy Lapthorne: 6-1 6-2.

For me, it was another boost. Found enough starting points to take another step forward at the next Grandslam.

 It is a wonderful event every time, the enthusiasm of the americans, they are really "sportscrazy.
